The CARE Awards
Exceptional Award: Leslie McCoshan
One day at the Nanaimo Airport, a situation arose where a fire alarm was pulled which caused a general evacuation of the terminal. Leslie, as the lead screener, was instrumental in giving clear and concise instructions to her team in emptying the boarding lounge and the sterile area quickly and efficiently. Due to her actions the airport issued a notable thanks to Leslie for her actions in "facilitating a wonderful evacuation of passengers in both lounges".

Mervin is known by both peers and management for his consistent positivity in the workplace, bright attitude, and commitment to giving his very best.
